Women’s Cohort
Since 2020, Sisterhood has been thrilled to be partnered with Horizon College and Seminary in offering their Women’s Cohort Graduate Certificate and Degree programs.
Sisterhood exists to gather, empower and mobilize girls and women to spread gospel hope, promote justice, and bring transformational change in the church, community and world. Horizon’s Master of Arts Program is an innovative educational cohort that empowers women to do just that.
Why consider the cohort?
The Gospel is meant to bring transformation to our families, our communities, and ourselves. As people of faith, we want to impact our communities and culture. But so often we don't know how to do it.
Through Horizon’s quality biblical training and an incredible community of like-minded women, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skill set to contribute to the mission of God's Church in ever-growing, significant ways. You will engage in discussions on relevant topics with called, anointed, and diverse women who share the passion of knowing Jesus and making Him known. You will be empowered to speak to relevant issues in an informed, wise, understanding, and truly helpful manner. And you will come to better understand the role God has called us as Christians to play in our wider society, and the role that He has called you to personally.
The scriptures show us women of courage who dedicated themselves to growing in the grace and knowledge of God, such as Deborah, Lydia, Miriam, Elizabeth, Priscilla, and Mary. These women chose faith over fear and obedience over apathy as they gave their time, energy, and even their lives in pursuit of abiding with their beloved Lord and Saviour. We seek to follow their example.
When we serve as God has called us to, in unity, commitment, and partnership with other believers, beautiful and powerful things happen. And the world cannot help but be changed.
