Baby Love
Baby Love is a special project that was dreamed up by Sisterhood Ministries to lavish love on mamas with new babies in our local community.
On June 4th, 2022, we threw a baby shower at the Friendship Inn here in Saskatoon for mamas & new babies who may have never had the opportunity to have such an experience. Each family received a bespoke package of gifts, access to a public health care nurse present throughout the evening, as well as car seats and training on how to install them, courtesy of SGI.
We needed to raise $30,000 to make this event happen. We are so grateful to the multitude of generous individuals and businesses that came through to make it a reality.
Sisterhood is currently talking with some experienced community groups to help us re-envision our Baby Love initiative so that we’re providing the support most needed in the wisest and healthiest way possible.
